Natasha Jonas Closes The Year With Fourth Pro Win

Natasha Jonas has closed 2017 with her fourth professional win in Oldham, on Saturday 16th December.

Miss GB stopped Katarina Vistica in the second round to finish the year with a perfect record.

Tasha, from Liverpool, has got a lot of people talking since her professional debut in June, and is now targeting titles in 2018.

Discussing her win, Tasha explained; “I’m really happy to go into Christmas on the back of a fourth victory. To finish in the second round was great, but I certainly got a taste of what it’s like to get hit in this fight, which hadn’t happened before.

“I’m working hard and I’ve learnt a lot in my first six months as a professional. I’m ready to take on 2018 and start looking at belts to continue my journey.”

Joe Gallagher, Tasha’s trainer and manager said: “After only six months in the pro game, I’ve been really pleased with Tasha’s progress so far. Next year’s all about moving up the rankings and starting to take titles.

“Since her first day in the gym earlier this year, she’s been committed to her craft and she’s become a real asset to the Gallagher’s Gym team. She’s a history making athlete and a great role model for the sport, as well as being a fantastic mum to Mela – she’s the full package and people will be seeing a lot more of Natasha Jonas in the next 12 months!”
